Buono Uno (Arduino Uno Derivative)

$15.00

The Buono Uno builds upon the ubiquitous Arduino Uno R3, providing more user friendly features.

Like the Arduino Uno R3, the Buono Uno runs on an Atmega 328. However, it ditches the Female Type B connector in favor of the vastly more common Micro USB cable used on some Android devices. What was most appealing to us was the current it is able to supply to peripheral devices. While the 5V pin on a regular Arduino Uno is rated for 500mA, the beefy regulators on the Buono Uno is able to pump out up to 2A of current! This means that for most sensor-only applications, and even some light actuation applications, the internal 5V regulator is capable to supplying enough current, eliminating the need for an additional regulator or power source. Being 3.3/5V selectable, this b
